Barbeira Beach in Baiona
Barbeira Beach is located at the foot of Monte Boi, adjacent to the facilities of the Monterreal Yacht Club and could be considered within the port of Baiona, making its waters very calm.
It is 220 meters long with fine sand. It is a semi-urban beach, as it is slightly removed from the town's hustle and bustle. It has a small grove of trees that provide shade, and beside it runs the Monte Boi Walkway, a route that circles the mountain and is worth taking for the marvelous landscapes it offers.
In the summer, the beach is supervised and also has a mooring area for boats.

Pets on the beach
In the beaches of Baiona, pets are welcome all year round. During the summer months of June, July, and August, dogs can continue to enjoy the sands, but only from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Both in winter and summer, owners must keep them on a leash, as in the rest of the municipality's public spaces.
