Particularities
  • It is a large beach of approximately 600 meters that connects with Prado and Playa D'Abra beaches, forming together a vast area, especially visible during low tide.
  • The tide dynamics completely transform the beach; its size decreases significantly during high tide but becomes a wide sandy area during low tide. During this period, despite the number of people, there is space for everyone. Before visiting the beach, it's advisable to check the tides to avoid surprises.
  • Due to the waves, the beach is perfect for surfing. Equipment can be rented, and lessons can be booked through various companies. Additionally, it is an ideal option for families.
  • The sunsets at this beach are truly impressive, especially with the Cíes Islands as a backdrop; they are hard to forget. It is worth noting that every Saturday morning, the Nigrán market is set up in one of the beach's parking lots.
Pets on the Beach

In the beaches of Nigrán, pets are welcome all year round. In the summer months, during June, July, and August, dogs can still enjoy the sandy areas, but only from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Whether in winter or summer, owners must always keep them on a leash, as in other public spaces in the municipality.
