Presa da Regueira (Recuncho do amor)

Until 2020, the Presa da Regueira (Regueira Dam) remained hidden in the undergrowth. During the confinement, Juan Alves, a local resident and neighbor of the area, undertook the task of cleaning and transforming this space, of his property, because of his need for exercise during the months when we could not have contact with other people, gradually turning it into a place of recreation for families and for the whole community. This is how this park, known locally for its special charm, came about, capturing the attention of both locals and visitors to the area.

This space offers trails designed for hiking, as well as an area dedicated to downhill biking, which requires caution to avoid dangerous routes.

Among its distinctive elements are benches, swings, bridges, hammocks, and lianas, all made from pallets, wood, rope, etc. These materials integrate harmoniously with the environment, giving it a unique character.

Highlighting the park is the "Recuncho do Amor", a large "bench" created by Juan Alves as an intimate corner for couples.

This magical place never ceases to amaze on each visit, as new elements are continually incorporated, making it a truly enchanting place.
