Rio Fraga Riverside Path or Baredo Mills Path
The River Fraga Riverside Path, also known as the Baredo Mills Path, covers approximately one kilometer along the course of this river, which flows into the sea near the Rocamar restaurant. Along the way, visitors can observe several historical mills, some of which have been restored.
There are two starting points to explore this path:
1. From the main road Baiona-A Guarda (PO-552): Located just before the river's mouth at Carretera Rocamar, 12. Coming from Baiona, pass the Rocamar restaurant and, a few meters further, you will find the path entrance on the left.
2. From Baredo: If you use Google Maps, search for "Senda Fluvial Molinos de Baredo". Here, the path starts near an old washing place. From this point, you can choose to follow the downstream section towards the mills and the mouth, or the upstream section, a more recent extension.
The path, which until November 2020 was approximately 750 meters long, was extended 500 meters further upstream, reaching areas of landscape interest.
This route is ideal for families. The wide wooden walkway makes it easy to walk and, especially downstream, there are many places to rest.
